Your business has grown.
Has your leadership team grown with it?

You can have great people, a strong business and a clear vision. But if your leaders aren’t equipped to lead people well, growth eventually starts to feel harder than it should. Managers become overwhelmed.
Good people leave. Problems keep getting escalated to senior leadership. And you find yourself getting pulled back into areas you thought you had already delegated.

The 7 Positions of Leadership™

helps you understand what is really happening inside your leadership team and gives your leaders a practical way to become more aware, adaptable and effective

Good employees don’t automatically become good leaders

One of the biggest mistakes businesses make is promoting their best performers into management and assuming they will know how to lead.

It means having difficult conversations. Giving feedback. Developing people. Handling different personalities. Knowing when to step in and when to step back. And most importantly, knowing how to adapt your leadership depending on the person and the situation. Without that awareness, managers tend to lead the way that feels most natural to them. That works sometimes. Until it doesn’t.

The real issue may not be your people. It may be how they are being led.

I’ve worked with hundreds of people across leadership, sales and personal development, and one thing I’ve seen repeatedly is that talented people can still struggle when they don’t understand their own leadership patterns.

They may not recognise their blind spots. They may not realise how they come across to others. They may continue using the same approach even when it isn’t producing the result they want.

This is where The 7 Positions of Leadership™ comes in.

It gives leaders a way to understand:

How they naturally lead

Their strengths and weaknesses

Their blind spots

Their default leadership patterns

How their behaviour affects the people around them

When they need to change their approach

How to become more flexible and intentional as a leader

The goal isn’t to turn everyone into the same type of leader. It’s to help each person understand themselves well enough to lead more effectively.

What happens when your leaders understand their own leadership better?

They start making different decisions. They become more aware of how they communicate.

They recognise when their usual approach isn’t working. They become better at handling different people and situations. They have more productive conversations. They develop their teams instead of simply managing them. And senior leadership can spend less time solving problems that should be handled further down the organisation. That is the real goal

Not more leadership theory. Better leadership in the real world.

How the process works

It gives leaders a way to understand:

First, we understand where your leaders are today

Then we look at what is happening around them

Then we work on adaptability

And then we build from there

The goal isn’t to turn everyone into the same type of leader. It’s to help each person understand themselves well enough to lead more effectively.

There are two ways we can work together

Talk To Dale About Your Team

Why I created The 7 Positions of Leadership™

I’ve coached and trained more than 800 people across sales, leadership and personal development.

Before creating The 7 Positions of Leadership™, I spent years managing teams of 15 in environments where staff turnover was a constant challenge.

I know what it’s like to genuinely want people to succeed but not have the time, structure or tools to help them develop.

I’ve also been on the other side of it.

Being told, “Just keep doing what you’re doing,” when you want to improve but nobody can actually tell you what you need to change.

That experience led me into deeper work around NLP, behavioural models and personal development.

What clients have experienced

It gives leaders a way to understand:

Per Christensen
Managing Director, Black Swans Exist

“Dale brought a level of leadership insight I didn’t expect. He took the time to understand each consultant individually before training them, and that changed everything. His ability to distinguish true high performers from high‑potential talent – and coach them differently – had a major impact on our culture and performance. If you’re growing a team and your managers are suddenly expected to lead, talk to Dale.”

Leslie Hunt
Business Owner, Hands on Healing

“Working with Dale fundamentally changed how I lead my business and understand my team. In an industry where people often operate as solo acts, Dale helped me shift our culture, identify who was truly aligned, and make the changes we needed. Today I stand in front of a unified team that understands our mission and their role in moving the business forward.”

The outcome isn’t just better leaders

It’s a healthier, more capable business. When your leaders become more aware and adaptable, you can start to see the difference across the organisation.

And fewer problems being pushed back to the senior leadership team. Ultimately, you want leaders who can lead their people and deliver results at the same time.

If leadership has become the bottleneck, let’s talk.

You don’t need another generic leadership workshop.

You need to understand what is actually happening with your leaders and where the biggest opportunities are.

If you have a growing business and a leadership team that you know is capable of more, let’s have a conversation.

We’ll look at where things are today, where you’re getting stuck and whether The 7 Positions of Leadership™ is the right fit.

Develop leaders who can lead without everything coming back to you.

Leadership is not simply about what you say. It’s about the position you’re leading from.

In this short video, Dale explains why capable managers can still struggle to lead effectively, how default leadership patterns affect teams and why developing leadership awareness can change the way your people perform.
